Some people believe, that due to the larger profile dressed hooks catch fewer but larger fish. To be honest, both works and it might depend on the day. There is much debate between a dress or naked hook.

The smaller Castmaster spoons at 4 o'clock position are great for brook trout, rainbow trout, pike, walleye, perch and smaller lake trout. Homemade by a friend using quality paint and Gamakatsu hooks! The three Bad Boys/Meegs jigs at 3 o'clock position are great for lake trout and whitefish. The Hawger spoons in the middle are great for walleye. Put a white tube on the end of the jig and you have a very good lake trout lure!
